A graduate of one of Brazil’s finest institution’s of higher learning, Alexandre Gama has nearly 40 years of experience in the creative advertising industry. His work started in 1981 as a copywriter for Standard Ogilvy and Mather, one of the top firms in Brazil.
Alexandre quickly became known as one of the top copywriters in the industry. He joined DM9 as a creative director in 1990, where he excelled for the next four years. He then joined Almap for two years before being named the CEO and COO of Young & Rubicam.
Gama had now made it from being a lowly copywriter to being the head of one of Brazil’s largest advertising firms. After three years with Young & Rubicam, Gama decided to open his own firm, Neogama. Since the company was formed it has become a well-known agency around the world and won numerous industry awards for its work.
