She has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry and a variety of leadership roles. Nexbank is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. It was founded in 1922 and now delivers mortgage banking, commercial banking and institutional services to large real estate investors, corporations, and other companies. Nexbank offers personal checking accounts, savings, mortgage accounts, treasury management, internet banking, business loans, real estate loans, and commercial lending services. Nexbank was formerly known as Heritage Bank and changed it in 2005. Nexbank successfully completed a $24 million common equity raise in capital in the summer of 2016. Nexbank partnered with Dallas Neighborhood Homes to help make buying a home affordable in southern Dallas. Nexbank sponsors the Lemonade Day in Dallas where children set up lemonade stands across the Metroplex. After the tragic shooting of police officers in the summer of 2016, Nexbank has donated funds to the family of the slain and wounded officers. Nexbank continues to care for the community and thinks about the future of Dallas.
