Dr. Saad Saad’s Medical Inventions

In his more than four decades of performing complex surgeries, Dr. Saad has been on the front line of operating on the children and young people from all over the United States. Also, the doctor has been involved in surgical procedures to the young patients in Holyland and has made eight free medical trips to children in west bank and Jerusalem. Equally important, Dr. Saad’s medical research also focused on how there would be a decrease of pain experienced by the patients. For this reason, the doctor has made two patented innovations where he discovered other new methods of performing the pediatric surgeries.

As an influential physician, Dr. Saad has created an easy way of using the catheter and the endoscopes. He improved the use of the medical catheter by inventing a device that locates it without the need of X-rays which have radiation or the MRI scans which are basic uses of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The catheter which is a tube is inserted into the patient’s body for drainage of gas or liquids and is usually challenging to locate hence the usage of X-rays or MRIs. Dr. Saad’s invention, therefore, comes in handy whereby the device is small and portable and works by placing the device on top of the patient’s body to locate the catheter. Again, it works by using magnets where once it is directly ahead the doctor can know as it lights up.

However, Dr. Saad’s invention is yet to have world-wide usage as manufacturing the device is quite tasking hence discouraging the manufactures. Nonetheless, one of the largest company in the medical field known as Utah is interested in the invention and once manufactured, the device will be available in the near future. On the other hand, the endoscope solution by the doctor is already in usage by most surgeons in the operating rooms. What’s more, Dr. Saad also used it in his surgical operations where he created a solution of incorporating an anti-fog system to the optical lenses of the endoscope. He made the procedure easy by having to use a suction device to suck away the body fluids which causes the fog hence creating a clear image. Learn more: https://www.crunchbase.com/person/saad-saad
