Anyone living in the American Southwest knows how vital it is to have a functioning air conditioning system. So when entrepreneur Ken Goodrich had to opportunity to purchase Goettl Air Conditioning Repairmen in 2012, he quickly acquired the company.
Like many acquisitions, however, Goettl had problems with poor employee morale and an unfocused business vision. But for Goodrich, this was not an unusual situation. Having acquired and renovated over 20 HVAC companies throughout his career Goettl was in good hands. After some restructuring and some legal sparring with the Arizona State’s Attorney General, Goettl has become revitalized and has seen the morale of its technicians raised, and through revamping the Human Resources, Information Technology, and Accounting departments with updated business tactics Goettl has quickly addressed the concerns of its clientele and is now focusing on its long-term success as a player in the region’s HVAC community.
Now celebrating its 75th anniversary in business Goettl, Goettl employs 84 professionals and currently has a fleet of 58 vehicles ready to respond to the air conditioning needs of their clients during the sweltering hot summer months.
