OSI Industries is an international organization on every level. Their plant operating system spans throughout the United States and over 17 different other countries. There are 65 facilities altogether. They exist in North America, the Asia-Pacific, and Europe. Plants in the United States are located in Chicago, Oakland, West Jordan, Utah, Riverside, California and Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Each of these plants is carefully monitored by an international team of quality insurance experts that make sure that all of these facilities are operating up to the same standard. Company President David McDonald implemented policy in order to ensure that the trace of accountability is very clear with each operating facility.
OSI recently acquired Baho Foods and Flagship Food Group. Each of these companies were obtained in order to increase OSI Industries’ presence in Europe. Baho Foods has five subsidiary companies of its own and holds a wide range of influence within the industry. Flagship Food Group serves products throughout the UK. It will be a key player in OSI’s ability to accomplish its mission.
OSI Industries also purchased Tyson Foods. Tyson Foods is a Chicago-based food manufacturer. The company has a long-running history with a dedicated staff. Hundreds of jobs would have been lost had the company closed. OSI Industries was able to prevent this tragedy and save up to 480 people from losing their income. Many of the Tyson Food employees were offered lateral positions within the OSI team.
OSI Industries is accustomed to working with a diverse employment sector. The company hires and recruits talent all over the world. Europe, the UK, Hungary, Poland and the Asia-Pacific are all centers of influence that allow OSI to obtain the type of talent that is needed to help the company bring in new ideas and cutting-edge innovation.
OSI Industries was previously named Otto and Sons. It was a family-owned business that was started by a German immigrant in the 1900s. The company established itself in the beginning days as a reliable supplier of meat products to every type of food business. Their working relationship with Ray Kroc and McDonald’s boosted the Otto and Sons to an international level.
