Sam Tabar made the decision early in life to make his dreams become a reality. But he worked tirelessly after he attended Oxford University and graduated with a BA degree with honors. Then he enrolled in Columbia Law School and worked as Associate Editor of the Columbia Law Review and was awarded his Masters’ Law Degree upon graduation. Sam is a member of the New York Bar Association.
Straight out of the gate into the world of practicing law and then he was hired by Skadden, Arps, Slater, Meager & Flom LLP, New York in September 2001. While he was there, he entered the business development and capital strategy areas of the firm. He then joined the staff of Schulte Roth & Zabel and handled employment, regulatory and compliance issues before leaving the company in 2014.
His knowledge had increased and his appetite had been whet for the challenge to use his skills in the position he held as one of the Marketing Executives for the Sparx Group. This is the largest independent fund in the Asia Pacific. He developed strategies to successfully launch the company’s global marketing project. Sam speaks and writes fluently in English and French and can speak a smattering of Japanese.
He privately invests in a company called SheThinx that helps women to learn how to empower themselves worldwide. The Thinx company is producing and marketing their new innovations for comfort and protection in the feminine hygiene industry. He also invests in Tribute where a loved one can post pictures and information for an online memorial and donations to their favorite charity.
Sam Tabar lends his time with a “Help Sam Tabar Support AWI” on a GoFund Me page to help support the African Wellness Initiative. The donations provide health and medical care for children with treatable diseases and the AIDS/HIV viruses. The greatest need for medical care is in the remote areas of Southern Africa.
The campaign is to make people aware of the dire medical situation the African people are facing.
Sam Tabar has a website where he can be contacted for his skills as a lawyer and capital strategist. Although in his recent appointment at FullCycleFund he’s going to be plenty busy.
